Wales almost beat England

Wales lead against England and was in good way to win match but England succeed to turn things completly around with second goal scored in 92 minute of match. On other side Russia lost to Slovakia and limit their chances for knock out phase a lot.

For Russia only win means something while for Wales even draw is enough in this match.

Russia is solid team no doubt but I think they are only little bit above average team on this Euro. Experienced goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, solid defence with Roman Neustädter, Berezutski, Smolnikov. Solid midfield with Shatov and Mamaev and attacking midfilder Oleg Ivanov and attack with solid options Artem Dzyuba, Fedor Smolov and Kokorin. I did not write teams where this players play because they all play in Russia Premier League for teams Zenit, CSKA, Terek, Krasnodar,.. only  Neustädter play for Schalke.

Main man in Wales team is for sure Real Madrid star Bale. After him next big star is Arsenal Aaron Ramsey and that is it. But they also have really solid defence with Chester from WBA, Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor from Swansea and Ben Davies from Tottenham. So when you have solid defence and great players like Bale and Ramsey and they have support from solid players like experienced striker Vokes, midfilder Joe Allen from Liverpool and in form Andy King from Leicester. Well they can surprise some teams for sure.

Russia will go after win and this will be great chance for quick Bale to score some goals and get involved in race for top striker in this EURO where he is in co-lead at the moment with 2 goals scored. Wales showed more so far and I think odds on Wales still represent some value.
